synopsis
The aim of this six-part docusoap series is to reveal the private lives of Czech and Slovak ice hockey players living abroad. Many of them have built houses and founded families in the United States or Canada. They are living a second life that the media usually remains silent about – they are more interested in attractive information like their salaries, romantic splits, or the expensive cars they have wrecked. And so the public knows very little about the real lives of these modern gladiators, whose millions have been earned through aesthetic discipline, by giving up free time, superhuman engagement, and the absence of any normal personal life and relations.
