synopsis
A feature-length documentary about Filip Topol – composer, songwriter, pianist, and singer for the band Psí vojáci. The film shows how Topol’s life and convictions reflected the pre-1989 era and his obsession with music, but also his serious illness. Throughout the film, we hear Topol’s songs, which he called a form of personal diary, and his short stories accompanied by observations and recollections by his friends and collaborators. The film also contains unique archival interviews with Topol himself, many of which have never been seen before.
