synopsis
FilmMAP follows the director’s wife as she searches for traces of the past in the Iranian capital, which her family left prior to the Islamic revolution. Loosely layered images of fleeting moments showing life in an oriental city provide a personal view that revises our Western, often limited, perception of contemporary Iran.
