This film by the author duo Geislerová and Mazúr builds on the concept of the so-called liquid love introduced by sociologist Zygmunt Bauman and the work of theorist Elisabeth Badinter in its critical analysis of the question of predestination of women for the mother role realized through a collage of shots of women symbolizing motherhood as well as emancipation which questions the inevitability of this frequently debated social role.biography
Milan Mazúr, a Slovak visual artist and filmmaker born in 1989, studied at UMPRUM in Prague. His choice of social subjects criticizes the mass culture and confronts it with his own existential thoughts.
Ester Geislerová (1984) is exploring field of existencial banality of women's lives, which puts her aside authors who are looking into the human identity, often with using themselves as objects. She graduated at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and she spent part of the studies in the Intermedia department at Academy of Arts Architecture & Design also in Prague.
