synopsis
Nazlı moved to Czech Republic from Turkey in 2005 to study film/animation, met Tomáš there and they have been together since. To You is their audiovisual letter to their unborn child, posing important questions about the future of their child in connection with the future of Europe.
biography
Âkile Nazlı Kaya (1980) earned a bachelor’s degree in Ankara, studied animation in Zlín and graduated from the audiovisual studies program at FAMU in Prague. She is the author of several animated and documentary films, which she makes in collaboration with Tomáš Doruška.
