synopsis

In this compilation of footage of storms, icebergs, and floods from archival material filmed during the 1920s, the filmmaker shows off the superhuman strength of water. The timeless shots of inscrutable and often fatal water masses is complemented by a clamorous musical accompaniment by composers David Lang and Michael Gordon.
