synopsis

A structural and poetic variation on existential topics such as life, death, anxiety, loneliness, transience and eternity. The film’s poetics draws on its contemplative potential, patchwork structure and repetitive editing patterns that suggest the flow of time and the fleeting nature of human existence through takes of stoned walls, windows, ships, roofs, urban panoramas, trains and cemeteries.
