synopsis

There is probably no sphere of our lives that has not been touched in some way by the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design, known as UMPRUM, which celebrates 130 years this year. Its graduates’ products surround us day and night, at home, at work, and in the public space. Not only in places where we expect art and thus see it, but also in places where we tend to overlook it – for instance in the design of everyday items. The film takes us on a journey in search of the place where these objects were first designed or where life was breathed into them.
