biography
Rudolf Růžička (1943–2022) graduated from FAMU with a degree in film and television directing in 1968. While there, he also directed the films
O kočkách, beatnicích a všeličems jiném (
About Cats, Beatniks and All Sorts of Other Things, 1966) and
Bitva na Červeném poli (
The Battle of Červené Pole, 1968). He worked for Czechoslovak (later Czech) Television and in the 1990s as deputy director of the Office for Foreign Relations and Information intelligence service.
