Vesnice Namo panorama z nosítek
Gabriel Veyre / France / 1900 / 1 min.
synopsis
Carried in a sedan chair, the camera moves through the village of Namo, translating the colonial traveller’s perspective directly into the movement of the image. The viewer follows the journey from a privileged vantage point as the inhabitants and houses pass through the frame. The tracking shot also reveals both the technique and the power relations underlying this perspective.biography
