synopsis
Is it possible to use sound to travel through time and experience the fate of other people? This story of a sound engineer studying recordings of war conflicts from the past transports viewers smack dab in the middle of a ravenous rampage where the horrors of the past come to the fore. The film also presents a philosophical reflection on the role that sound plays in our world. The film was developed on the program of the AAMOD Premio Zavattini.“The sound never dies. Venezuelan director and screenwriter Jeissy Trompiz (* 1986) studied filmmaking and television in Cuba. He likes to experiment with film forms and genres in his work, often blurring the lines between documentary and fiction, and is also no stranger to theatre and photography.
