Future Memory Lab – Presentation of Projects in Development / Call for Entries 2027
A presentation of new Future Memory Lab projects currently in production and early post-production, aimed at representatives of the international film industry as well as the wider professional and general public. The programme will feature feature-length and short films developed within a creative laboratory dedicated to advancing contemporary, innovative approaches to working with film archives and found footage materials.

For representatives of the Czech and international film industry, the media, and film professionals. Advance registration is recommended.
- Are you interested in innovative approaches to using archival materials in contemporary filmmaking? Would you like to learn more about the residencies and workshops organized by FML? Are you unsure whether your project is a good fit for Future Memory Lab?
- Are you a representative of a film archive or a researcher? Would you like to learn more about research into ethical dilemmas and the use of AI tools in archival work, as well as opportunities for collaboration?
Lucie Králová and Miriam Ryndová, founders of Future Memory Lab, look forward to meeting you in an informal setting and will be happy to answer your questions.
Future Memory Lab — Meet the Future Memory Lab 2026 Projects
Would you like to meet the creators of new, innovative films being developed at Future Memory Lab who are looking for partners for the further development of their projects? Directors and producers of documentary and hybrid feature-length films will be available for one-to-one meetings. We recommend attending the project pitches on October 29 at 7:30 PM at Horácké Theatre beforehand.
Independent producers, distributors, sales agents, representatives of television broadcasters and VOD platforms, memory institution curators, archive representatives, journalists, and other film professionals are welcome.
