Petr Skala (1947) is one of the Czech video art founders. He graduated from FAMU in the fields of documentary film, scriptwriting and directing, and has been pursuing experimental films since the 1960s. He uses the techniques of painting, drawing and engraving the film stock. The Ji.hlava IDFF presented many of his films, for example Spatial Deformation and Searching for Balance in 2016.more about film
