Is there life elsewhere in the universe? What form could it take? And what if we've even encountered extraterrestrial life and just haven't been able to detect it? Astrobiologist and physicist Sara Imari Walker understands life as a cosmic creative process with information at its core. It opens our consciousness to possibilities far beyond fantasies of anthropomorphised green-grey beings in flying saucers. We earthlings have come to identify life with ourselves, and this may well prevent us not only from understanding it, but from truly seeing and appreciating it.
