Localism is a beautiful idea –⁠ but just how much can it be done in practice? How far can ordinary men and women consumers go down this path without spending a disproportionate amount of time and money? What prevents restaurants or bistros in the Czech Republic from operating fully locally? What measures of the state or municipalities can help, what works abroad and what are the dead ends of localism?
