Fever Dream

“Just look and see what’ve you’ve caused by stepping into a dream this way.” These are the first words of this film made using a combined technique. In the same way that we see images one on top of another in our sleep, here too, animated, static and live action film scenes about sickness, stagnation and freedom – as well as about animals and weeds (those that suffocate the spirit as well as the garden variety) – overlap and are knitted together with sound.

Marina Hendrychová is a student of audiovisual studies at FAMU. Her video projects and art objects have been shown at, for example, the Fotograf Gallery and the Pardubice City Gallery.
