synopsis
A kaleidoscope of a number of stories with the same ending – a longed-for child. This film sensitively captures the wait for a child, revealing the inner thoughts of the parents who are preparing for their new roles. Against the backdrop of the adoption process, the parents go through a slightly different kind of pregnancy full of challenges and decisions.
biography
Alice Nellis graduated from FAMU, where she studied screenwriting. She made her directorial debut with the film
Eeeny Meeny (1999), which was named best film at the San Francisco International Film Festival. As a documentary filmmaker, she co-directed the TV series
Praha mizerná (2000) and the film
Chaos (2001).
