Back in Time for the Weekend, The 70s
Tom McCarthy / United Kingdom / 2016 / East European Premiere / 60 min.
synopsis
This reality show makes it possible for a British four-member family to travel in time and experience a different decade each week through “the life of one household” (starting with the 1950s and ending with a fictional future). This entertaining socio-cultural experiment moves smoothly between topics like fashion, technology, and politics, and even covers “what vacuum cleaners meant for women, and mortgages for the middle-class”.
