Stay With Me, The World is a Devastating Place
director: Angelo Madsen Minax
original title: Stay With Me, The World is a Devastating Place
country: United States
running time: 9 min.
synopsisIn this essay film, the talking heads of American TV news in the 1970s return to today's screens to warn viewers of the demise of humanity and the world as we know it. The film, thus, forms a bridge between the shots of the past and the terrifying visions of the future and, despite its poetic charm, calls for immediate action.
“Symbolism will not save a sinking ship.”
