Towards the end of the four-year siege of Sarajevo, in 1995, Sarajevo Film Festival was initiated with the aim of helping to reconstruct civil society and retain the cosmopolitan spirit of the city. Today, 28 years later, the SFF Festival is the leading film festival in the region, recognized by both film professionals and the wider audience. Next to the strong Documentary Competition for makers from 21 (regional) countries, the festival offers to the regional makers as a part of the strong Cine Link Industry part, Docu Rough Cut Boutique that has been organized in 3 stages, in 3 different cities during the period of 6 months.
