Code of conduct overview:
-
Violence and discrimination
We do not tolerate violence, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind. Offensive language and actions or any signs of disrespect will not be tolerated.
- Personal space
All participants must refrain from unwelcome physical contact, sexual attention, stalking, persistent unwanted communication, harassing photography or recording, or any form of online or offline bullying.
- Open dialog
Create a space where everyone feels safe to express ideas and collaborate freely, allowing all voices to be heard without interruption or rejection. Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information, and when offering feedback, focus on the content, not the person.
- Equality and inclusion
We do not tolerate any violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, cultural background, age, sexuality, socioeconomic status, or disability. Offensive expressions of xenophobia or other discriminatory or extremist ideologies will not be tolerated.
- Respect the event
Be considerate during screenings and festival events. Avoid disruptive behaviour, late arrivals, or the use of mobile phones. Do not record or take photographs without the consent of the organisers.
- Respect the artist and artistic work
Treat all films and filmmakers with respect. Avoid derogatory or inappropriate comments and encourage open, inspiring discussion about the films and the topics they raise.
If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, do not hesitate to contact our staff. In an emergency requiring urgent assistance, call 112 or contact the police at 158.
