Ondrej has a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University Olomouc. He worked at a number of film festivals and cultural events in both the production and program departments. From 2013 to 2018 he worked at the programming of the cultural platform Pastiche Filmz where he was managing a film club. He is currently working as a head of programming at the international festival of science documentary films AFO (Academia Film Olomouc). He is doing his Ph.D. at the Department of Theater and Film Studies at Palacký University Olomouc, in his Ph.D. research he focuses on the ethnography of distribution cultures of documentary films in the Czech Republic.
