ConTRIOlogy feat. Tomáš Vtípil

Tradition and its deconstruction, both in remarkable balance. It is a risky path, but the ConTRIOlogy trio, which allows Leoš Janáček's folk songs to be disrupted by the actions of noise maker Tomáš Vtípil, comes across as authentic, credible, and with many unheard-of constellations of sound. This applies to Michal Grombiřík's lightly controlled cimbalom, Žaneta Vítová's accordion and harmonium, and Jana Vondrů, who is well versed in contemporary music but also sings about all those young men completely faithfully and without civilizational distance. Vtípil has a free hand (he can do anything at any time), so he leads an unpredictable dialogue with the flow of music through electronics, blowing sea shells, a prepared bass guitar...
