Monika Načeva has always created remarkable music; in recent years, she has also had an excellent intergenerational band and a great repertoire from the albums Zdivočelí koně (2020) and Jdem temným dnem (2024). An original selection of texts from underground poetry (Jirous, Jirousová, Čerepková, Smazalová, Koch, Hanč, Bondy...), a dark cross-genre continuum from rock chanson to ambient dub, a charismatic stage presence, and a genuine devotion to the songs that suggests that, ultimately, this is about more than just music. Monika Načeva has entered one of the peak periods of her career, and we can be there to witness it.
