NEW CINEMA 2025 Get to Know Your Cinema Operator

The New Cinema project has long been educating and connecting cinema operators and distributors not only from the Czech Republic but also from neighboring countries. For the2024-2025 festival, one of its goals is to connect cinema operators with producers and other stakeholders in the audiovisual industry. The seminar is structured around presentations, moderated discussions, and a “round table” of participants from the New Cinema 2024-2025 project with other stakeholders in the AV industry. Participants in the project operate cinemas in both large cities and small towns and villages, allowing for a comparison of approaches based on the size of the catchment area or competitive environment.In addition, the seminar will explore the potential of artificial intelligence in cinema or present updated statistics on documentary film attendance in Czech cinemas in 2024 and 2025.
