biography

Dutch artist Sabine Groenewegen draws inspiration for her work primarily from history, whose traces also form her primary research material. She is especially interested in how our ancestors’ decisions influence the present day and the future evolution of all of human society. In order to find the most fitting answers to her questions, she combines found footage with visually distinctive post-production work.
