synopsis

A proliferation of images and minor chronological shifts transforms the movement of people through an urban landscape. Visual effects and a restless audio track create an expressive language that tells a dramatic story which takes place exclusively within the texture of images. This distinctive member of Austria’s youngest generation of avant-garde filmmakers follows in the tradition of the masters of found footage from the 1990s, but creates his own aesthetics using digital manipulation of originally analogue material.
