Sára Prokopová is a documentary director and a graduate of documentary directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU). She works on both independent projects and television documentary formats. As a researcher and assistant director, she has been collaborating with Peter Kerekes on a long-term project about the Košice Marathon (Marathon). She further develops her filmmaking experience as a project coordinator for the VOD platform DAFilms and the production company Marina Films. She is currently completing her debut feature documentary, Retuning, set in Slovakia’s public service media.
