Johanna Terhechte is an artist working at the intersection of two-dimensional media and sculptural practice. She works with moving and still images, exploring how two-dimensional media can be dissected, altered, and translated into space. She is currently an artistic assistant at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Recent exhibitions include thirtythree, Zurich; Linienstraße, Düsseldorf; OxfordBerlin, Berlin; and Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig (MdbK). She organized the exhibition series Public Fictions (2022) and is co-founder of the publishing house SOLBATEMIM. She studied Fine Arts in Leipzig, Vienna, and Düsseldorf.
