Ji.hlava More Accessible

We want everyone to enjoy Ji.hlava — including those who have so far found attending the festival difficult.

Ji.hlava More Accessible

To make the festival genuinely accessible to all, we are again offering complimentary accreditation this year for seniors aged 65+ and for holders of ZTP and ZTP/P cards (Czech disability identification cards). One companion of a ZTP/P cardholder is also eligible.

Complimentary Accreditation

How to apply?

You can apply for accreditation now via our Visitor Page* or in person from 24 October 2025 at the café in the Horácké Theatre. Accreditations ordered online can also be collected at the same location from 24 October.

At the Infopoint on Masaryk Square, you can reserve seats for specific screenings. Reservations can also be made online after logging in to your festival account.

* If you do not yet have an account in our database, you will need to provide basic identification details and choose a password. Registration will facilitate further communication with Ji.hlava IDFF and the account can be used for future editions. After completing registration, the accreditation form will become available to you. You can find the terms and conditions for purchasing accreditations here.

Special Screenings

Screenings adapted to specific needs

As part of our effort to increase inclusivity, we are preparing screenings specifically adapted for viewers with particular needs. These screenings are clearly marked in the programme for easy identification.

Screenings marked with the symbol ℗ are intended for people with disabilities. These screenings do not include strobe effects, disturbing or triggering themes, or violence. A festival representative will be present in the auditorium if needed.

Attendees should expect increased movement and noise in the auditorium.

Screenings marked with the symbol ∞ are intended for parents with small children. There will be dim lighting during the screening, and children may move freely or play with quiet toys.

Parents have priority and free admission to these screenings without the need for reservation. Simply arrive 15 minutes before the start. All screening venues are accessible.

This year we are also introducing a special screening for seniors, who will have priority entry to the screening hall. The screening will be clearly indicated in the programme and adapted to their needs — it will provide a calmer atmosphere and on-site support.

Sensitive content or accessibility issues? Let us know!

Accessibility

Accessibility is essential to us. The Dukla, Diod and, newly, DKO cinemas and venues are fully accessible. Assistance dogs are welcome without restriction.
