synopsis

Selling the family house didn’t stop the memories that kept living beyond its fence. Deciding to ring the doorbell of childhood becomes an attempt to finally let accumulated emotions go. A film about being stuck in loops, and the search for courage to leave the past behind and settle into the present.

biography

Veronika Čepelková is a visual artist trained in design. Her work merges a strong visual approach with intimate family storytelling. The film Ladybugs (Berušky) is a deeply personal documentary project.
