Brazilian screenwriters and directors Emiliano Cunha and Vado Vergara graduated at PUCRS University. Vergara is also involved in editing and sound design. While the former of the two authors has been dealing with modern film as part of his studies, specifically in cinéma du flux, the latter artist has focused on possibilities of image in exploring relations between film and painting. Both of them have taken part in a number of film festivals.
