synopsis

Is it possible to find a poet based on a poem that was written almost 25 years ago? The gonzo-style documentary movie depicts the author’s search for the poet who sent her a poem at the end of the millennium. Will she be able to track him down or will she end up finding something else entirely?

This film will be featured in the online edition of Ji.hlava IDFF.

biography

A burnt-out digital nomad, freelance copywriter and a DIY culture enthusiast. Has worked with people on the fringes, organized concerts, film nights, design and fashion markets. Wrote a blog from an island in the Philippines. Experiences from her first journey are included in her book Gwapa at the Ring of Fire.
