synopsis
Imagine a group of friends who met through the climate movement. For several years, you have fought alongside others for a fairer future, but little has significantly changed, leaving you somewhat exhausted. Now, you go away for a weekend at a cottage to rest—and during that time, you find yourselves in an apocalypse for a single day.
A collective film, a first-year exercise at the Department of Documentary Film, exploring friendship in the shadow of an uncertain future.
biography
Valerie Vítů graduated in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and is currently a student at the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU. She was drawn to the world of cinema through the My Street Films workshop, which she attended in 2019. In her personal, academic, and civic life, she is engaged with socio-environmental issues, which are reflected both in her creative work and in her involvement in various social collectives.film details
