synopsis

A poetic film essay explores everyday life through a family archive as a fragile space of shared intimacy. In fleeting images of home and the bonds we share, it searches for the preciousness of ordinary moments: can the camera capture presence without turning it into memory before it is truly lived?

biography

Veronika Kováč is a PhD candidate at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, researching documentary filmmaking ethics. As part of her doctoral studies, she also co-organized the annual Conference on Ethics in Documentary Film at the IDFF Ji.hlava.
