synopsis
A portrait of the idiosyncratic writer, satirist, illustrator and collector of curiosities Bedřich Kopecný, who, as a librettist of “drawn, spoken, acted or moulded” humour, worked in partnership with Jiří Winter under the joint pseudonym Neprakta (which is why the credits read “voiced by Kopecný, ½ Neprakta”). The film captures Kopecný up close in his home, where he shows off various items from his collection at one moment and draws at his desk the next, all accompanied by a commentary on “human coexistence” that is at once both serious and light-hearted. The piece is a second-year television project.
biography
Iskra Cvetkova Dimčevska / Iskra Dimčevska-Ouhilal (1943) is a Bulgarian student of film directing (1963–68, graduation project 1969). Two more feature films from her student work have been preserved:
Andělíčci (
Little Angels, 1966) and
Guide (1968).
