synopsis

Route is a movie about eight railway stations built by Josef Danda, about our perception of architecture, about a train trip. About light, mirror reflections, station announcements, hurrying and waiting. When was the last time you closely watched a train station?
 

biography

Tereza Štěpánová (1999) studies art history at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Her main interest lies in architecture of the 20th century. Route is her first attempt to talk about architecture through film language and also her first serious experience with filmmaking.
