synopsis
A survey is being conducted on the streets of Prague about popular Czech singers, specifically Karel Gott and the rumours surrounding his life. We see the interviewees and the reporter only in photographs. In his family villa, Gott then describes to the reporter (Vít Olmer) his relationship with his young female fans and how rumours and gossip (about him having died, being homosexual, and the like) contribute to his popularity. Excerpts from his song
Zloděj dobytka (
Cattle Rustler) are featured here. Drha later returned to the subject in the film
On (Him, 1968). The work is a television exercise by second-year students of the Department of Film Directing.
