28th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival
director: František Ponzer
original title: Vlakování
country: Czech Republic
running time: 9 min.
synopsisIt is said that in his spare time, Antonín Dvořák would go to the New York train station to admire trains. A similar kind of fascination has led me to make this short documentary movie. This film is an insight into the world of trains through the categories of rhythm and time. These categories obtain a strange meaning in this specific autonomous world in the way they affect the lives of the workers.
This film will be featured in the online edition of Ji.hlava IDFF.
