Anja Boato is a researcher at the University of Bergamo specializing in immersive media and the relationship between technology and cultural production. Alongside her academic work, she has worked as a screenwriter and narrative consultant for audiovisual and immersive projects, including The Gossips' Chronicles (Corinne Mazzoli, 2024), a location-based VR experience developed through Biennale College Cinema. Since 2019, she has been a member of the press office of Venice Immersive, the immersive section of the Venice International Film Festival.
