Book to Film

Throughout modern history, literature has been a wellspring of inspiration for filmmakers, while real-world reportage is often the basis for documentary films. There is a growing trend among documentary filmmakers to explore new narrative sources in literature and to secure rights for cinematic adaptations. Four modern European authors known for their reportage books will unveil their latest works and engage with the documentary community.
