A new study doesn’t offer a single prediction, but rather several different scenarios for future developments. The discussion will explore how to bring long-term thinking into politics, where decisions are typically made within a timeframe of just a few years. Which decisions made today by politicians, institutions, communities and individuals can genuinely shape our future?Who in today’s political landscape represents future generations? And how can we turn long-term responsibility from an abstract ideal into everyday practice, ensuring that the most pessimistic scenarios do not become reality?
