MMNK | Ji.hlava Vibes

mmnk is a young group floating between progressive rock, alternative rap and open mic
karaoke. Their distinctive style originated in the Brno underground scene of alternative
music, where the gentlemen debuted their first works. The band then went about honing their
indiscriminate musical language and wittiness in the rehearsal room before suddenly bursting
onto the stage and wiping everyone's nose with their irritating charm.

After the release of their debut album "Uměnení 2: Ohnivá pomsta", the band went on a
showcase tour to the Macedonian PIN Music Conference in cooperation with the Czech
export agency Soundczech and played two successful festival seasons. mmnk could have
been seen playing at festivals such as Colours of Ostrava, Pop Messe, Beseda u Bigbítu, or
Povaleč. A club tour with pop-rap duo hihihahaholky is planned for the autumn of 2024.

For the 2024 season, the band has prepared three new singles, with the current novelty being
"Stejně bys nevěděl jaký by to bylo". The single is the result of the band's collaboration with
Ivo Gregor Sedláček of P/\ST and is geared more towards pop and electronic music. The last
of the singles will be part of the upcoming album, which we can expect early next year.
