A contemplative collection of images of the Yukon Territory, an area of north-western Canada where parts of native wilderness are still preserved. Through historical artifacts and contemporary realities, the film constructs imprints of collective memory against the backdrop of pristine tundra.biography
Canadian filmmaker and media artist Kyath Battie makes experimental and non-fiction films. Her main focus is on natural landscapes, mysteries and sound design. In her personal and observational documentaries, she often combines film and photography, creating a thin line between filmic and photographic experience.more about film
